End Time Prophecy

What is End time Prophecy?

At The Narrow Path International Ministries, we believe in the significance of End Time        Prophecy as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. These prophecies provide insight into God’s divine plan for the culmination of history and the fulfillment of His promises. We are called to be vigilant, faithful, and prepared for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, living our lives in alignment with His teachings and sharing the message of salvation with the world.

✝️Steps of Understanding End Time Prophecy:

  1. The Return of Jesus Christ
    1. Matthew 24:30: “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.”
    1. Acts 1:11: “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Explanation: The return of Jesus Christ is a central event in End Time Prophecy. It signifies the culmination of history and the fulfillment of God’s plan for humanity. Christ’s return will be visible and glorious, and it will mark the end of the current age and the beginning of His reign.

  • The Rapture of the Church
    • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

Explanation: The rapture is the event in which believers, both living and dead, will be taken up to meet the Lord in the air. This event will occur before the Great Tribulation and will bring believers into the presence of Christ.

  • The Great Tribulation
    • Matthew 24:21: “For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equalled again.”
    • Revelation 7:14: “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Explanation: The Great Tribulation is a period of unparalleled suffering and distress that will affect the entire world. It will be a time of intense persecution and trial for believers, but it will also be a time when God’s judgment is poured out on the earth.

  • The Rise of the Antichrist
    • 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4: “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.”
    • Revelation 13:1: “The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.”

Explanation: The Antichrist is a figure who will emerge during the End Times, characterized by lawlessness and opposition to God. He will deceive many and establish a reign of terror, exalting himself above all that is called God.

  • The Battle of Armageddon
    • Revelation 16:16: “Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.”
    • Revelation 19:19: “Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.”

Explanation: Armageddon is the site of the final battle between the forces of good and evil. It will be a climactic confrontation between the armies of the Antichrist and the heavenly hosts led by Jesus Christ. This battle will lead to the ultimate defeat of evil.

  • The Millennial Reign of Christ
    • Revelation 20:4: “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Explanation: The millennial reign refers to the 1,000-year period during which Christ will rule on earth in righteousness and peace. During this time, Satan will be bound, and believers will reign with Christ.

  • The Final Judgment
    • Revelation 20:11-12: “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”

Explanation: The final judgment is the moment when all people, living and dead, will be judged according to their deeds. Those whose names are written in the book of life will inherit eternal life, while those who are not will face eternal separation from God.

  • The New Heaven and New Earth
    • Revelation 21:1: “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.”
    • Revelation 21:4: “‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Explanation: The new heaven and new earth represent the final state of redeemed creation, where God will dwell with His people in perfect harmony. There will be no more suffering, death, or pain, and all things will be made new.

✝️Our Response to End Time Prophecy:

  1. Stay Vigilant and Watchful
    1. Matthew 24:42: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”
    1. 1 Peter 4:7: “The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.”

Explanation: Believers are called to remain watchful and vigilant, living each day with the expectation of Christ’s return. This means being spiritually alert, staying grounded in God’s Word, and maintaining a prayerful attitude.

  • Live Holy and Righteous Lives
    • 2 Peter 3:11-12: “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.”
    • 1 John 3:3: “All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.”

Explanation: In light of the coming end times, believers are urged to pursue holiness and righteousness, reflecting the character of Christ in their daily lives. This involves avoiding sin, seeking purity, and striving to live in a manner that honors God.

  • Share the Gospel
    • Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
    • 2 Timothy 4:2: “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”

Explanation: The urgency of End Time Prophecy underscores the importance of evangelism. Believers are called to actively share the message of salvation with others, making disciples and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

  • Encourage and Strengthen One Another
    • Hebrews 10:24-25: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
    • 1 Thessalonians 5:11: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Explanation: In these times, it is vital for believers to support and uplift one another in faith, fostering a spirit of unity and encouragement as we face challenges and anticipate the fulfillment of God’s promises. By gathering together, sharing in fellowship, and spurring one another on toward love and good deeds, we strengthen the body of Christ and remain steadfast in our hope for His glorious return.
