During our intercession time, we focus on several key areas:
At The Narrow Path International Ministries, we deeply value the power of intercessory prayer. Intercession time is a sacred moment where we come together as a faith community to lift up our voices in prayer, standing in the gap for others and seeking God’s intervention in every aspect of our lives. We believe that prayer is a powerful tool that can bring about transformation, healing, and divine breakthroughs.
- 1 Timothy 2:1-2: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
- Ephesians 6:18: “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
- James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
✝️Steps we Consider During our Intercession Time
- Personal Needs:
We pray for individual concerns, including health, finances, relationships, and spiritual growth. We believe that God cares about every detail of our lives and is ready to hear our prayers. By bringing our personal needs before the Lord, we trust in His provision and guidance.
- Philippians 4:6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
- Community Needs:
We intercede for our local community, lifting up those in need, the marginalized, and the oppressed. We seek God’s guidance and provision for community leaders and organizations working for the common good. Our prayers extend to all aspects of our community, including schools, businesses, and public services, asking for God’s blessing and protection.
- Jeremiah 29:7: “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
- Global Concerns:
We pray for global issues, including peace, justice, and the well-being of all nations. We intercede for those affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and other crises, asking for God’s mercy and intervention. Our hearts go out to those suffering around the world, and we believe that our prayers can make a difference in their lives.
- 1 Timothy 2:3-4: “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
- Church and Ministry:
We lift up The Narrow Path International Ministries and other churches and ministries around the world. We pray for our leaders, members, and initiatives, asking for God’s blessing, wisdom, and strength to fulfill our mission. We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and through our prayers, we support and uphold each other in our spiritual journeys.
- Colossians 4:2-4: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
- Salvation and Spiritual Awakening:
We intercede for those who have not yet come to know Christ, praying for their salvation and a spiritual awakening in our community and beyond. We ask God to soften hearts, open minds, and draw people to Him, so that they may experience the life-changing power of His love and grace.
- Romans 10:1: “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayed to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.”
- Healing and Deliverance:
We pray for those who are sick, suffering, or in bondage, asking for God’s healing touch and deliverance. We believe that God is a healer and a deliverer, and through our prayers, we seek His miraculous intervention in the lives of those in need.
- James 5:14-15: “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
- Guidance and Wisdom:
We seek God’s guidance and wisdom for decision-making, both personally and collectively. We ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in all our endeavors and to grant us the discernment to follow God’s will.
- Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
- Unity and Reconciliation:
We pray for unity within the body of Christ and reconciliation among individuals and communities. We believe that through prayer, barriers can be broken down, and relationships can be restored.
- Ephesians 4:3: “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
🙏 Prayer for Intercession
Gracious and Loving Father, We come before You today with humble hearts, seeking Your presence and guidance as we intercede on behalf of others. Lord, You are the source of all grace, mercy, and wisdom, and we trust in Your power to bring healing, peace, and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we lift up those who are facing trials and challenges. Comfort them in their distress, strengthen their faith, and provide for their needs. May they experience Your love and peace in every moment of their journey.
We pray for our leaders and those in positions of authority. Guide their decisions and actions, Lord, so they may serve with wisdom, justice, and compassion for the greater good. May they seek You in all that they do.
We intercede for families and communities, asking for unity, love, and understanding. Let Your Spirit of peace dwell among us, binding us together and fostering relationships that reflect Your divine love.
Lord, we also pray for those who have yet to know You. Open their hearts and minds to Your truth, drawing them into Your presence and showing them the beauty of Your grace. Use us as vessels of Your love, shining Your light wherever we go.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. May Your blessings flow abundantly to those we lift up in prayer, and may Your name be glorified in all circumstances.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
